We are excited to announce that we have entered into a partnership with TechPixies, an organisation which aims to upskill women who have spent time away from the workplace and help them return to employment. The award-winning social enterprise have begun to branch out across Oxfordshire, with free taster sessions followed by six-week courses starting as early as October 2017.
We are hosting the following events at our Stratton Audley office:
- Friday 17th November – Free Taster Session (12pm – 2pm)
- February 2018, date TBC – Six-week training course begins
Joy Foster, founder of Tech Pixies, said: “I’m delighted to welcome two new partners to the TechPixies family. The use of Bloxham Mill Business Centre and Stack and Jones’ offices will enable us to reach out more to Oxfordshire women who have a desire to return to work but feel they could benefit from new tech skills taught in a fun and supportive environment.”
Helping women to get back to work is something our Director, Michael Stack, feels is very important. He said “When I set-up the business in 1992, I employed mostly women who needed flexible hours to fit either side of the school run. As their children have grown-up, their role has developed and so has the business. I believe in what TechPixies is doing and am pleased to be able to help.”
